Oil exports and operations at Kuwait's second-largest oil refinery were unaffected by an explosion at a petrochemical facility on Thursday, an oil official said.
The explosion happened at an industrial area in the Mina Abdullah port, and not at the nearby 270,000 barrels per day refinery, the official at state refining arm KNPC told Reuters.
